A New App For Dental Emergencies

There’s a new app on its way, and it could change how you handle dental emergencies.

Known as DentaCom, the app provides a way to send pictures and a report of a suspected dental emergency to a dentist. The dentist can evaluate the situation and direct the patient to appropriate care.

Many dental emergencies happen outside of normal business hours, but regular emergency rooms are often not staffed or equipped to handle dental emergencies. An ER visit could result in a long wait, a big bill, and only a temporary fix, like a prescription for pain medication and directions to see a dentist.

DentaCom presents the potential for a dentist’s opinion before heading to the ER, saving you valuable time and money.

The app is not yet available to the public, but I will post it here as soon as it is!
